Outcome of consultations to be published in early April

The consultation period for both NDA’s draft strategy and draft business plan 2016 to 2019 ran until 15 February.
These documents reflect the NDA’s 5 year budget as determined through the Spending Review set out by the Chancellor of the Exchequer in his Autumn Statement of 25 November 2015.

Lloyds share sales raise almost £14 billion for the taxpayer

The government has sold a further 1% shareholding in Lloyds Banking Group through the trading plan launched in December, taking the total raised for the taxpayer to almost £14 billion and reducing the government’s shareholding to below 14%. All sales are used to reduce the national debt.
