£1 million improvements for M6 near Wigan and St Helens

Contractors for Highways England are resurfacing a two-mile stretch of the M6 between junctions 23 and 25, equivalent to the size of seven rugby league pitches.

£16.5 million improvements along Yorkshire and Humber’s road for Christmas

Between now and Christmas, teams of roadworkers will be working across Yorkshire and Humber, repairing and maintaining the region’s 326 miles of motorways and trunk roads.
