M6 speed limit returns to 70mph near Sandbach

Contractors for Highways England began work on the bridges in January this year and a 50mph limit was introduced for safety reasons, due to the temporary narrow lanes on the motorway.

Northampton pair ordered to pay over £700 for illegally poaching fish

M6 junction to close for weekend as £4.1 million project nears completion

The Highways Agency scheme at junction 26 of the M6, which links the motorway to the M58 and A577, will see an extra lane added to the northbound side of the link road between the M6 and the A577 Orrell Road.

UK submarine industry to benefit from £285m investment in successor programme

£2.3 million of improvements for the A36 near Bath

The £2.3 million scheme, on a three mile section of the A36 between Brassknocker Hill and Hantone Hill, is being carried out to correct geotechnical faults in the bank underneath the road that are resulting in damage to the road surface.
