Man ordered to pay over £16,800 for waste offences in Ludlow, Shropshire

On the 28 January 2016, Shrewsbury Magistrates Court fined the defendant £1,320, ordered him to pay £10,652 in compensation to the Environment Agency, £4,805.63 in costs, along with a £120 victim surcharge.
The charge was brought by the Environment Agency contrary to Regulations 12 (1) and 38 of the Environmental Permitting (England and Wales) Regulations 2010.

Second Permanent Secretary with responsibility for borders and immigration appointed

Birmingham man given £782 penalty for fishing without rod licence

On Monday 14 September, Mareks Doniks of Smethwick, West Midlands, was found guilty at Stroud Magistrates’ Court of one charge relating to fishing without a rod licence at the Ripple Fishery on the River Severn, Gloucestershire.
He was ordered to pay a £50 fine, £717 in costs and a £15 victim surcharge.
