£3 million resurfacing schemes near Doncaster

Contractors for Highways England will be resurfacing 8 miles of the northbound carriageway on the A1(M) between Blyth and Tickhill and another 8 miles on the northbound A1 between Barnsdale and Darrington – the equivalent of the area covered by 26 football pitches.
As part of the two schemes, 2,500 reflective road studs will be replaced

BBC to fund provision of free television licences for over-75s
