Benefit cap: thousands of people move into work or off Housing Benefit

According to new figures published today, 25,300 people who had their benefits capped moved into work, reduced their Housing Benefit claim or no longer claim Housing Benefit at all.
The benefit cap limits the amount of benefits a household can receive to a maximum of £26,000 a year, the equivalent of a salary of £34,000 a year.

UK boosts global efforts against illegal wildlife trade

£1.67 million awarded to planetary exploration projects
