£9.4 million to boost low carbon heating

Almost £2.4 million will be offered to 32 local authorities across England and Wales to support the development of heat network projects, designed to provide more efficient heat to buildings and potentially lower heating bills, through the Government’s Heat Networks Delivery Unit (HNDU).

Bristol enterprise zone funding boosted by £6 million

Bristol was today (28 May 2014) awarded £6 million from government as part of a £23 million fund to encourage further urban redevelopment and new business creation nationally, bringing total funding to date for the Bristol Temple Quarter enterprise zone to £17 million.
