Details of £1.8 billion Midlands’ roads plan

CMA publishes final determinations on electricity distribution appeals

Highways England goes out to tender on construction works framework agreement in the East Midlands

Contractor announced for £2.4 million improvements in Bedfordshire

Greening: Britain backs the Global Goals for Sustainable Development

Government sells further 1% shareholding in Lloyds

The government has sold a further 1% shareholding in Lloyds Banking Group through the trading plan launched in December, taking the total raised for the taxpayer to £15 billion and reducing the government’s shareholding to below 12%.

Energy Trends and Prices statistical release: 24 September 2015

Highlights for the 3 month period May to July 2015, compared to the same period a year earlier include:

Primary energy consumption in the UK on a fuel input basis rose by 0.2%, on a temperature adjusted basis it fell by 0.7%. (table ET 1.2)
