Wave energy: £7 million for innovative energy conversion projects

Businesses can now bid for a share of £7 million from Wave Energy Scotland (WES) as part of its long-term programme of support for commercialisation of the wave energy sector.
With funding from the Scottish Government, WES is seeking innovative proposals for research and development of secondary energy conversion technology – known as power take-off (PTO) systems.

Awards announced from £2 million homophobic bullying fund

Today eight organisations will be told they are to get a share of £2 million to help prevent and eradicate homophobic, biphobic and transphobic (HBT) bullying. The funding was announced by Jo Swinson, Minister for Women and Equalities, and Secretary of State for Education, Nicky Morgan, in October 2014.

£16 million boost for agricultural innovators

Cyber-security: £5 million investment in UK innovation
